MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man accused of killing a young woman and badly injuring another during a crash along the U.S. 60 in Mesa last year is being offered a plea deal, and the victims’ families are not happy about it.
Nicholas Meyer has an extensive criminal history for drugs, theft and forgery. He also has dozens of driving-related offenses and a suspended license that dates back to 1999.
In October 2024, Meyer was involved in a crash on U.S. 60 near Stapley Drive that killed 23-year-old Zoey Johnson and badly injured her friend Rayme Barnes.
