Former Phoenix Anchor Stephanie Hockridge Found Guilty in PPP Loan Fraud Case

Former KNXV anchor Stephanie Hockridge has been found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. She was found not guilty on four other counts of wire fraud.

Hockridge worked at the Phoenix ABC affiliate from 2011 to 2018. In 2020, she started financial tech company Blueacorn in Scottsdale with her husband, Nathan Reis, along with others in 2020. Blueacorn was formed to help process Paycheck Protection Program loans during the height of COVID-19.

Hockridge and Reis were indicted by a grand jury in November 2024 on federal charges of one count of conspiracy and four counts of wire fraud…
