PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Another sunny and dry day around the Valley with temperatures once again below average, with morning temperatures in the 70s warming to 103 degrees this afternoon. That’s a few degrees below normal for this time of year in Phoenix.
Similar conditions can be expected tomorrow, with a forecast high of 104 degrees. Temperatures return to near-normal by Thursday with a high of 107 degrees, then climb above normal by the end of the workweek and into the weekend, when temperatures peak near 112 to 113 by Sunday and Monday.
Dry air remains in place for most of the state, but limited monsoon moisture is making its way into southeastern Arizona. This will provide daily shower and thunderstorm chances for the White Mountains. For Tuesday, there is a slight chance of storms as far west as Gila County, including the Globe area. We could see an increasing chance of storms across the state later on next week…
