HEREFORD, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are warning residents about a new wild animal that has been spotted in Cochise County.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office says a bear cub was seen in Hereford, near East Lone Mountain Road and East Mountain Vista Road. Photos show the bear walking around the area and climbing a tree.
CCSO did not specify the time or day the bear was seen. The Arizona Game and Fish Department is also aware of the bear.
CCSO advises that if you come into contact with a bear or any other wild animal, do not approach or attempt to feed or trap it; instead, contact your local law enforcement agency for assistance…
