An official cause of death has been revealed for teenage runaway Emily Pike.

Pike, a 14-year-old who went missing from a Mesa, Ariz. group home in January, was found dismembered in trash bags near the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation in Arizona the following month.

The Pinal County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that Pike died of “homicidal violence with blunt head trauma,” according to reports by ABC15 Arizona, Fox10 Phoenix, and azcentral. While the cause of death has been confirmed, the complete report from the medical examiner is still not available.
