Phoenix will again deploy traffic cameras to catch lead-footed drivers and red-light runners.
In a 7-1 vote on July 2, city leaders approved a $12 million contract with American Traffic Solutions to install the red-light cameras at some of Phoenix’s most dangerous intersections. It’s the latest step since the City Council green-lit the photo enforcement program last October.
