Summer is really tough for restaurants in Phoenix, and this June, the Valley saw many spots close their doors.
Tempe’s Mill Avenue district has seen a lot of turnover lately, and this month, two pizzerias joined the list of shuttered eateries. Around the Valley, some longstanding chains closed their remaining Arizona locations and smaller eateries served their final meals. One acclaimed fine dining spot shut down and multiple local bars announced last call for the last time.
