Gilbert Farmers Market grows and thrives

It’s Saturday and farmers, artists, food truck vendors and business owners from across Arizona rise before dawn, some hitting the road as early as 4 a.m., loading their vehicles with fresh produce, culinary creations, and handmade goods.

They make their way to the bustling weekend farmers markets scattered throughout Valley, to unpack and set up their booths by 7 or 8 a.m., ready to welcome the steady stream of marketgoers looking to shop, taste and explore local vendors.
