A man suspected of breaking into a Phoenix home was shot and killed by the homeowner early on July 13, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
At about 7:45 a.m., Phoenix police officers responded to a call about a burglary at a home in the area of 7300 N. 12th Avenue, which is just northeast of the intersection of West Glendale and North 15th avenues, according to Sgt. Brian Bower.
As officers were getting to the scene, they found out the homeowner had shot the burglary suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Kwame Hightower. He was pronounced dead at the location, Bower said…
