Mesa Public Schools has a new spending plan in place at a time of unprecedented shaky finances hitting districts nationwide.
The Governing Board last week approved a $520-million maintenance and operations budget and a $59-million capital budget for the fiscal year that began July 1, which includes a one-time $900 stipend instead of a pay raise.
