Pedestrian hit by car, killed while crossing the street in Phoenix

PHOENIX — A woman died after being hit by a car while she was crossing the street on Monday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers were called to the intersection of 32nd Street and Stanford Drive at 7:20 a.m. on Monday due to a crash involving a pedestrian, the department said.
