Juvenile in custody after overnight shooting in Tolleson leaves 19-year-old dead

PHOENIX — A teen was booked into the Maricopa County Juvenile Correctional Center after a fatal shooting in Tolleson on Monday, authorities said.

The juvenile male allegedly shot 19-year-old Angel Olguin in the area of 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. and found Olguin with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
