MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A body was found in the Salt River near Mesa on Thursday and investigators believe it’s a missing person.
First responders were called out to the area near the Loop 202 (Red Mountain) freeway and Alma School Road. That’s where the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said the body was found. Deputies didn’t say who found the body.
No name has been released and detectives didn’t say why they believe it’s a missing person. An investigation is underway…
