PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified two people who died and the driver involved in a late-night rollover crash earlier this year on a Phoenix freeway.
On Thursday, DPS said the driver, identified as 20-year-old Adan Dominquez Ornelas, has been booked on homicide and aggravated assault charges for the wreck, which killed Gianna Lopez and Cesar Cazares. Both victims were 18 years old.
The single-vehicle crash happened on March 30 around 12:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of state Route 51 between Northern Avenue and Shea Boulevard.
