The forecast that looks towards Sunday predicts mostly sunny skies with a high nearing 101 degrees, and a gentle east wind turning west in the morning. Come nightfall, however, there’ll be a 20 percent chance of showers after 11 p.m. The start of the new workweek seems to follow a similar pattern; Monday’s forecast anticipates a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, alongside predominantly sunny skies and a high of 102 degrees.
