Police report sheds light on delusional motive in Arcadia attorney’s murder

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — New details paint a disturbing story of years of mental health struggles and threats made by a Phoenix man who police say shot and killed his brother at his Arcadia home in March.

In the newly released police report, we now know threatening letters were sent to high-powered attorney James “Artie” Eaves before he was killed, reportedly by his own brother, Christopher Eaves.

Four months ago, true crime correspondent Briana Whitney was at the 4th Avenue Jail to do a jailhouse interview with Eaves, but instead, he started speaking in codes and phrases and abruptly left the room…
