Phoenix man sentenced for selling access to Medicaid patients in sober living scheme

A man was sentenced to three and a half years in prison for running unlicensed sober living homes across the Phoenix area.

Corey Beckhum, 41, was convicted for his attempt to supply Medicaid recipients to a behavioral health facility in exchange for money, according to a news release from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

Beckhum was found guilty on June 26 on one count of conspiracy to commit consideration for patient referral and one count of attempted consideration for patient referral, the release said…
