MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Scary moments for visitors and residents of an East Valley retirement community after an SUV crashed into a building at the complex early Tuesday afternoon.
After arriving at the scene around 12:30 p.m., first responders worked to evacuate the second and third floors of the Oasis at Mesa Palms on Country Club Drive, just north of Brown Road.
Photos shared by the Mesa Police Department showed a white SUV that had hit a wall, narrowly missing an apartment entrance door.
