Feeding wildlife is illegal, no matter the menu

Some people feed wildlife because they believe it helps the animals survive. Others want to attract them because they’re cute. Still others think it’s a good way to dispose of dead pigeons they’ve killed.

Regardless of the reasons people put food out or what they put out, feeding wildlife – except for most birds – is illegal in Maricopa County.
