A full report on Hannah Moody’s tragic death has been released after her body was discovered near an Arizona trail in May.
According to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office, the 31-year-old hiking influencer was found “deceased and decomposing” about two days after she failed to return from the trail near Scottsdale. The temperature outside reportedly reached a high of 103 degrees.
The medical examiner’s office previously concluded that Moody’s cause of death was “environmental heat exposure.” Her manner of death was determined to be accidental. The full postmortem analysis specifies that her body was discovered with “decompositional changes” and “abrasions of the right shoulder and lower extremities.”
Her toxicology results were negative for “ethanol, screened drugs of abuse, and select therapeutic medications,” the medical examiner’s report states. She had only “minimally elevated creatinine and urea nitrogen.”…
