In a time when the average movie ticket can run more than $15, one Tempe theater has quietly held its ground. At Pollack Tempe Cinemas, admission is still $3.50, the same price it has been for more than a decade.
Owner Michael Pollack said that’s no accident.
“This theater was built for the community,” said Pollack, a Valley developer and philanthropist. “We keep prices low because families deserve a break. People still love the big screen, they just need a way to afford it.”
