Mesa police shared more details on the fatal shooting of a man after he tried to break into a Chandler home, crashed his vehicle as police pursued him and pointed a gun at officers.
At about 6:50 a.m. Aug. 21, Chandler police officers responded to a home near Frye Road and Windstream Place after a resident called to report an unknown man trying to enter their home, said Ryan Cody, spokesperson for Chandler police.
