MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Valley family is mourning the death of 21-year-old Marcella Manuel, who was killed Saturday when a car crashed through a brick wall in Mesa.
Manuel was the passenger. The victim’s mother says Manuel’s ex-boyfriend was behind the wheel and is expected to survive.
Officers with the Mesa Police Department say they do believe both speed and impairment were primary factors. Charges are pending the toxicology report, but the driver is not currently in police custody…
