Mesa woman survives being stabbed 22 times by ex-boyfriend

A Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office sergeant was hospitalized after being hit by a van driver in central Phoenix on Wednesday night. It happened at Third Avenue and Indian School Road. Firefighters said the sergeant has serious injuries but is in stable condition. Stephanie Duprey has more.

Forest rangers are lifting fire restrictions completely in the Coconino National Forest starting on Thursday. Those restrictions are usually lifted in early July but due to lack of rain, they were kept in place for a near record-breaking amount of time.
