Man critically injured after electrical incident on rooftop in Tempe

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was critically injured after being shocked while working on a rooftop in Tempe on Monday morning.

Just after 11 a.m., Tempe Fire crews responded to a commercial building near McClintock Drive and University Drive for an elevated rescue after a man was working on a rooftop air conditioning unit when he was shocked.

Firefighters wrapped the nonambulatory man up and used a ladder truck to get him off the roof before transporting him to the hospital…
