Weather changes on the way for Arizona

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — More weather changes are underway for Arizona as an area of low pressure treks across the West. Look for a sunny and breezy day in the Valley, with a forecast of 102 degrees.

Winds will once again be elevated across the state today, with Valley winds between 10 and 15 mph, gusting to 25 mph. Stronger winds can be expected in the higher elevations of the state.

As low pressure moves across the Great Basin, it not only drives windy and cooler conditions for Arizona, but also slightly boosts rain chances. The best chances today and tomorrow are in Eastern Arizona, including storm activity across Gila County.
