RAINFALL TOTALS: How much rain hit the Valley on Thursday

PHOENIX — Storm clouds moved across Arizona on Thursday, bringing about an inch of rainfall to the northern regions of the Phoenix area.

Data released by Maricopa County shows most parts of the Valley was hit with some precipitation throughout the day. Areas around Anthem and Carefree appeared to receive some of the most rainfall.

Here are the rainfall totals over a 24-hour span as of Sept. 19 at 8 a.m.:

  • Gold Mountain: 1.81″
  • Carefree: 1.34″
  • Cave Creek Regional Park: 1.30″
  • Seven Springs: 1.06″
  • Sonoran Desert Drive/Paloma Parkway: 1.06″
  • New River: 0.98″
  • Scottsdale Road/Pinnacle Peak Road: 0.98″
  • Cave Creek: 0.94″
  • Circle City: 0.71″
  • Bell Road/Dysart Road: 0.71″
  • Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club: 0.67″
  • Pinnacle Peak Park: 0.55″
  • Shea Boulevard/Tatum Boulevard: 0.43″
  • Bell Road/Loop 101: 0.39″
  • Thomas Road/32nd Street: 0.35″
  • Peoria Regional Preserve: 0.35″
  • Paradise Valley Golf Club: 0.32″
  • Phoenix Children’s Hospital: 0.31″
  • East Mesa: 0.28″
  • White Tank Regional Mountain Park: 0.28″
