Mesa Police Shoot Suspect Accused of Domestic Violence After He Allegedly Points Gun at Officers

Early Thursday morning, a man suspected of domestic violence was shot by officers in Mesa after allegedly pointing a gun at them. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident occurred just after midnight near Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue. The Mesa Police Department responded to a family fight at a home. Upon arrival, the 33-year-old man emerged from the residence and aimed a gun at the officers, resulting in the officer-involved shooting.
