Temperatures in the Valley will climb to 106 today and tomorrow, which is about 8 degrees above average for this time of year in Phoenix. Sunny and dry conditions are expected today, but rain chances begin in the Valley on Thursday.

A cut-off low pressure system is moving into California, then Arizona over the next few days. The track and speed of this low is tough to predict, so there is still some uncertainty with which areas will see the heaviest rain, along with the timing of the rain…
