SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Scottsdale police say a man is facing arson and other criminal charges after a standoff at an extended stay hotel prompted a road closure near a busy intersection Thursday evening.
Video from the scene shows a heavy police presence at the Metro Scottsdale Extended Stay on Scottsdale Road and Mountain View Road, which is south of Shea Boulevard.
Police haven’t shared many details, but the department confirmed on social media that there were no injuries reported and there is no threat to the community.
Scottsdale PD hasn’t released any info on the suspect either…
