Phoenix man sentenced to 18 years in prison for robbery, shooting in federal case

PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was sentenced on Monday to 18 years in prison for a robbery and shooting that occurred last year, officials announced.

Junn Alan Quinto Coleman, 35, previously pleaded guilty to Hobbs Act Robbery, a federal crime that prohibits affecting interstate commerce with an actual or attempted robbery, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona.

Prosecutors said that Coleman also pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
