MESA Ariz. (TCN) — A jury recently indicted a 22-year-old man on suspicion of stabbing a mother and her two daughters in what authorities called a random act of violence.
The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office said on Oct. 2 that a jury indicted Lowell Dorn on two counts of attempted first-degree murder, one count of first-degree burglary, and one count of aggravated assault.
According to KTVK/KPHO-TV, on Sept. 17, Dorn allegedly broke into the victims’ home through an unlocked door and stabbed a 16-year-old girl multiple times. Her mother reportedly tried to intervene by striking Dorn with a hammer, but he began stabbing her and her 18-year-old daughter. Allegedly, Dorn struck the mother in the face at one point with “an unknown blunt object and an Xbox gaming system.” She reportedly suffered a fracture to the face as a result…
