TEMPE, Ariz. — A man was tased by police while attempting to set fire inside a Tempe Wells Fargo bank during business hours, according to court documents.
Police said 29-year-old Elijah Oldaker entered the bank at 5120 South Lakeshore Drive on Sept. 24 just before 4 p.m., carrying a cardboard box.
Oldaker told the teller he was going to prison and repeatedly said he was robbing the bank while demanding money, according to a probable cause statement. When the teller did not respond to his demands, Oldaker retrieved a notepad from the box…
