Multiple crashes have plagued the dangerous historic Apache Trail, also known as state Route 88, during the last month and officials are urging people to slow down. From cars smashed at the bottom of canyons to motorcycles crashed on the edge of steep cliffs, the historic highway is quickly gaining a different reputation than its scenic designation suggests.
