PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is set to spend the rest of his life behind bars for a series of shootings in 2022, including an ambush that injured a Phoenix police officer.
Aaron Ware, 25, was sentenced on Monday to life in prison and over 56 additional years in connection with the crimes that happened three years ago.
“When someone puts our community and the people protecting it in danger, there has to be real consequences,” said County Attorney Rachel Mitchell. “This sentence is justice not only for the victims, but for every person in Maricopa County who deserves to live without fear of violence in their neighborhood.”…
