Some federal workers are expected to miss out on a paycheck this week as the government shutdown continues. One Phoenix charitable organization is preparing for increased demand.
During the last government shutdown, in 2019, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul helped 57 families of federal workers in Arizona cover costs for rent and utilities.
