Arizona families feel the impact as SNAP ends and Food Bucks Now launches

PHOENIX — SNAP benefits ran out on Saturday, Nov. 1, leaving thousands of Arizona families unsure how they’ll buy food this month.

But Monday marked the launch of Food Bucks Now, a temporary Arizona state government program giving each SNAP recipient $40 to help bridge the gap.
