Dozens of students stung by bees during fire drill outside Queen Creek school

QUEEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) — Dozens of students are being evaluated after they were stung by a swarm of bees outside an East Valley school.

School officials say Queen Creek Junior School students were outside practicing a fire drill shortly before 2 p.m. when about 40 people were stung. In addition to students, some staff members were also stung.

No one has been taken to the hospital so far, according to a Queen Creek Unified School District spokesperson. Arizona’s Family has reached out to the Queen Creek police and fire departments for additional information…
