Six students were hurt, and a woman was in critical condition, after a school bus with dozens of children aboard crashed with a car amid rainy conditions in Phoenix, fire officials said.
Phoenix Fire crews were sent around 9:30 a.m. to the crash near 16th Street and Glendale Avenue, according to an email from Phoenix Fire Capt. DJ Lee.
A total of 56 passengers were on the bus at the time, including the driver and teachers, according to the Phoenix Catholic Diocese. All children were evaluated on the scene and parents were contacted, Lee said in the email…
