Salvation Army to provide meals for Thanksgiving

The Salvation Army is preparing to provide nearly 3,500 Thanksgiving meals to people in need on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27.

“We invite families, individuals, and people of all ages to join us for a hot, nourishing meal and fellowship,” said Major Charles Fowler, Commander of The Salvation Army Southwest Division, in a release.

The Thanksgiving event will be in its traditional location in the South Building of the Phoenix Convention Center, located on the southeast corner of 3rd Street and Washington Street, where 1,200 meals are expected to be served…
