Several nonprofit organizations that support low-income and unhoused individuals are gearing up to provide Thanksgiving dinner this week. St. Vincent de Paul is one of them.
Andrea Ariza with the charity says roughly 60 volunteers are already on hand to prepare.
“It takes about three days to prepare for 5,000 meals. So we are really excited about that. It’s a very nice time for volunteers as well. It feels like you are part of something so special and they get really excited about that,” Ariza said…
