Fake Arizona nurse used stolen license to treat patients, agents say

COTTONWOOD, AZ (AZFamily) — A Mesa woman was arrested and is accused of posing as a nurse and treating patients using another woman’s nursing license.

Christine Muturi Lewis is facing multiple counts of forgery, fraud schemes, practicing nursing with a fraudulent license and computer tampering.

According to court documents, Lewis was hired by Northern Arizona Hospice (NAZ) in Cottonwood as a registered nurse in August.

In her application and resume, Lewis said she had worked as a triage nurse at a hospital in Las Vegas from February 2019 to March 2022…
