QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — An unlicensed contractor from Queen Creek was recently sentenced to jail after pleading guilty to forgery charges in Pinal County, officials said.
Yul Ryan Nelson, 51, was sentenced on Dec. 9 to one year in jail followed by four years of probation after he entered into a plea agreement earlier this year.
The Arizona Registrar of Contractors investigated the defendant and found he had been building new homes and selling them without a license. Nelson was the subject of seven complaints filed by people who purchased these new homes and the AZ ROC investigation resulted in up to 11 complaints. These complaints date back to 2022…
