A woman who was found shot inside a vehicle and later died on Dec. 17 was identified by Phoenix police as 39-year-old Katherine Cervantez.
In a police statement released the next day, Dec. 18, the department said officers responded to a call of an unknown trouble about 7:10 p.m. in the area of North 12th Street and East Mountain View Road in north Phoenix.
While enroute to the location, officers learned the incident was a shooting. They found a woman in vehicle with what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound, the statement said…
