PHOENIX — With 2025 quickly coming to a close, some Arizonans are already thinking ahead to how they will be ringing in the new year. And if fireworks are on your list to kick off the new year, here are a few things to keep in mind to keep yourself safe.
What’s legal
According to Arizona law, the only legal fireworks are firecrackers and ground explosives. Sparklers are also legal, as are those spinning sparklers on the ground.
The key phrase is “on the ground.”
