Two Arizona employers posted notice of upcoming mass layoffs in December, including a Valley hotel closing and a Pinal County food manufacturer.
Nationally, workers at Amazon, one of the state’s largest employers, will likely see a large-scale layoff. The ecommerce giant laid off about 14,000 corporate employees in late 2025, but the total jobs cut could reach up to 30,000, according to previous reporting from USA Today. So far, there have been no notices of Amazon layoffs posted in Arizona.
