PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police have identified the man they say fired shots at them while officers were responding to an unrelated call in north Phoenix late last month.
On Monday, the Phoenix Police Department announced that Arieus Amaree Potts was booked into the Maricopa County jail over the police shooting that happened on Dec. 27, 2025.
Jail records showed that Potts faces one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was being held on a $250,000 bond…
