Arizona sushi chain operators indicted in illegal worker, stash house operation

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The owner and two operators of a Phoenix-area sushi chain have been indicted after investigators said they were harboring illegal workers and keeping them in stash houses.

Qin Liu, Zhen Liu, and Yung Lau, who ran four sushi restaurants, were arrested in December. A federal grand jury indicted the three on Wednesday for harboring illegal aliens. Zhen Liu and Yung Lau were indicted on an additional charge of knowingly employing unauthorized aliens.
