PHOENIX — A self-driving Waymo car was recently seen moving along the new light rail tracks in south Phoenix.
Video footage recorded by a bystander Wednesday morning near Central and Southern avenues captured a Waymo vehicle sitting on the light rail tracks and a passenger exiting the autonomous car. A light rail car is seen not far behind the Waymo vehicle as the autonomous car then moves forward along the tracks.
The video then shows the Waymo car reserving a bit on the tracks…
