PHOENIX — A woman is dead after she was struck by a car Thursday morning in north Phoenix, police officials said.
The incident was reported near Deer Valley Road and 26th Avenue, west of Interstate 17, shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department. The injured woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
